I can see that, when you were making this, you thought a lot about how it would be seen, interpreted or rather visualized. You put a lot of thought into this, because the textures are, to put it simply, brilliant. I'm not sure if you were simulating rock or soil (looks more like rock) but you did well indeed. Can't say much on originality, but you're one major rocker if you can model trees. My only concern here is the rather large shadow at the bottom. Now, normally, in space, when a planet is shot in a photograph, you see a large shadow, right? That's because of the sun, I believe. In this piece, you planet appears to be hanging in earthly sky, with the sun outside our view. Therefore what we should see is only shadow. What you did was make the light strong enough to eliminate most shadow, but in the process, you confuse the senses. The sun should be in the top left corner. This is a magnificent piece to the eye, it is only let down by the lighting. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> Good job.
